The Mik Cire S/S11 show was held at The Studio at Lincoln Center and
featured a sophisticated take on laid back style. Male models walked the
runway with that "just-rolled-out-of-bed" hair, leather wrap bracelets and
inconspicuous chain necklaces with pendants. On the feet we saw leather flip
flops, motorcycle boots, and strappy yet masculine Grecian sandals. Taking a
new spin on the classic spring and summer staple, many Mik Cire shorts
were cinched at the knee with buttons. We saw versatile light weight layering
pieces that included asymmetrical leather jackets, slouchy blazers, cozy
cardigans and simple tees. The models were styled with dark colored beanies
and fringed scarves to complete their looks. This was a fabulous show!
