Saturday Melissa (Giggles) and I headed out for the much anticipated wedding of Katie and Steve.... we had such a great time last October at Katie's sister Erin's wedding we couldn't wait to see the whole Keefe clan again. This is a great family- and they have the nicest way of making you feel like family too.
Jay at Golden Gate created some beautiful bouquets in ivory and shades of blue for Katie and the girls.

Katie is a really beautiful girl, but at heart she is a goofy fun loving jock! Apparently she was quite the basketball player at Providence College. Today though- she's just super glam.
What kind of guy should marry a super goofy fun loving jock girl? Well, a fun loving jock guy of course! Steve played Hockey at PC and then went on to play hockey professionally in Denmark. I made a joke last year about him keeping all his teeth for the wedding. Unfortunately for Steve there was some kind of mishap with his front tooth- on the bright side though, Katie's dad is a dentist. This is a match made in heaven!

Giggles met up with the boys at the rink- where Steve spent most of his time during his life at PC. I wasn't worried about sending Giggles in to this super man town atmosphere... these guys are her number one fans!
The penalty box... a space Steve is pretty familiar with. I wonder if Katie is going to have one of these installed at their house?

We are at St. Dominics which is on the campus of Providence College, it's a lovely chapel.
I love this moment with Katie and Steve and their parents helping to bless their marriage. Both Katie and Steve's parents were high school sweethearts and continue to be each other's sweethearts so I think they are qualified!
Either Katie just scored a basket or she bagged a handsome husband...

So romantical.
Here's Steve telling Bob Manning of Bellevue Productions all about how he and Katie met... it seems the first time they met was on campus and they both had significant others at the time- didn't stop Katie from winking at Steve though. Sly! The second time they saw each other was at a college bar, and Steve sent over a neon green Kamikaze shot for Katie, it cost him a whole dollar! Katie was so impressed that she actually told him that she'd marry him. Seems crazy, but I guess there is a method to Katie's madness.
